FMLA Mirror

Verify Your Employer’s FMLA Count

Keep your own FMLA count

FMLA Mirror is an iPhone app for keeping an independent count of federal FMLA leave and comparing it with the figures your employer or leave administrator provides.

The app is free to start. An optional one-time purchase unlocks correction history, discrepancy analysis, resolution tracking, verification history, PDF verification reports, and reminders. There is no subscription.

Scope

FMLA Mirror covers federal FMLA under 29 CFR Part 825. It does not determine eligibility, approve or designate leave, provide legal advice, or conclude that an employer violated the FMLA. State leave laws and the separate OPM/Title 5 rules for many federal employees are not included. Results depend on the records and settings you enter.

Support & contact

For help with FMLA Mirror, questions about privacy, or a problem with the app, email:

Please include your iPhone model, iOS version, app version, and the steps that led to the issue. Remove personal, medical, and employment details from screenshots. Please do not send your leave records or backup files unless they are specifically needed to investigate a problem and you choose to share them.

Getting started

Set up your employer, FMLA year method, work schedule, and leave case. You can usually find this information in your employer’s FMLA notices, leave policy, schedule, or HR portal. Ask your employer or leave administrator if information is missing. Support can help with the app, but cannot determine your eligibility or provide legal advice.

Purchases and restoration

To access purchase options, open Settings, then Purchase. If you already bought the full version, use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Apple processes payments; the developer does not receive your payment card details.

Your records

The developer cannot access or recover records stored on your iPhone. Use the backup options under Settings > Privacy and Security to keep a copy you control. Protect exported files, as they may contain sensitive information.

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

FMLA Mirror is designed to keep your FMLA information private and under your control.

Data collection

FMLA Mirror does not require an account and does not automatically collect or transmit your FMLA, medical, employment, usage, advertising, or location data to the developer. The developer does not sell or rent these records. You can choose to export or share files yourself. The app does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking technologies, or a developer-operated server.

Data stored on your device

Information you enter, including employer profiles, work schedules, FMLA cases, leave time, employer statements, verifications, notes, and reminders, is stored locally on your iPhone. Deleting data in the app or deleting the app removes the local copy, subject to any device backups controlled by you or your platform provider.

Purchases

The one-time in-app purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. FMLA Mirror receives only the StoreKit information needed to determine whether the full version is unlocked. The developer does not receive your payment card information.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, FMLA Mirror schedules local notifications on your iPhone. No notification server is used. You can disable notifications in FMLA Mirror or in iPhone Settings.

Face ID and device authentication

If you enable app locking, authentication is handled by iOS. FMLA Mirror receives only whether authentication succeeded and never receives or stores your face, fingerprint, or device passcode.

Backups

You may create a backup file and choose where to save it through the iOS Files interface. FMLA Mirror does not upload the backup. If you choose iCloud Drive or another file provider, that provider’s privacy terms apply.

Data retention and deletion

Data remains on your iPhone until you edit it, delete it, use Delete All Data, or remove the app. Delete All Data removes the app’s local records and reminders but does not cancel or remove an App Store purchase. Because the developer does not possess your local data, the developer cannot retrieve or delete it remotely.

Reports and files you share

If you export a report or share a backup, the file contains the information you choose to export. Review it before sending it. The recipients and services you choose handle the copy under their own terms and privacy practices.

Support correspondence

If you email support, you provide your email address and the information contained in your message. This information is used to respond to your request and investigate the issue you report. It is handled through the email services used for correspondence. Do not include sensitive records unless necessary. You may contact the same address to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any applicable retention obligations. This is separate from the app’s local records, which the developer cannot access remotely.

This website

This page contains no analytics scripts, advertising, tracking pixels, or cookies added by FMLA Mirror. The hosting service may process technical connection information, such as your IP address and request logs, to deliver and secure the page. Email links open your chosen email service.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, this policy will be updated to reflect them. The date above identifies this version of the policy.
